Day 1 Lima - Arrival day
Day 2 Cusco - Fly to Cusco, lunch, drive to the Sacred Valley, visit isolated ruins and markets
Day 3 Aruraycocha - Ascend canyon of Mantacnayniyoc to Aruraycocha Lake, camp
Day 4 Cuncani - Continue trek through Andean scenery with views of surrounding mountains, including Mount Veronica (5750 m) to Cuncani (3750 m), camp
Day 5 Lares - Visit Cuncani, a traditional Inca village whose inhabitants are known for their weavings, descend to Lares Valley, visit thermal baths, camp
Day 6 Calca - Mountain view bus ride to Calca, begin service project at the orphanage of Casa Albergue de los Pobres
Day 7 Calca - Build bed frames and book shelves for kids at the orphanage
Day 8 Machu Picchu - Backpacker train to Machu Picchu, explore from 10am-5pm, stay overnight
Day 9 Machu Picchu - Return to Machu Picchu, explore from 7am-2pm, afternoon train to Cusco, final dinner
Day 10 Lima - Fly to Lima, depart
