Known as the multisport adventure capital of Central America, Costa Rica has much to offer adventure travelers from around the world.

Explore the Caribbean coast during this 8-day adventure. Visit the village of Carbon where you’ll help make improvements to El Yue, a local women’s cooperative. Overcome your fear of heights during zipling and canyoning and purify your soul by the water at Punta Uva beach.

Sample 8-day Itinerary

Day 1: San Jose – Arrive as close to noon as possible, overnight in San Jose, orientation, group dinner

Day 2: Puerto Viejo - Transfer to Puerto Viejo, group dinner near the beach

Day 3: Territorio Indegiena BriBri - Begin service project, overnight in dormitory at El Yue

Day 4: Territorio Indegiena BriBri – Complete service project with closing ceremony at El Yue

Day 5: Puerto Viejo - Early morning hike and canyoning, afternoon bike ride to Punta Uva to relax on the beach

Day 6: Puerto Viejo - Late morning zipline, afternoon dance class, final group dinner

Day 7: Puerto Viejo - Free morning, afternoon transfer to San Jose

Day 8: San Jose - Depart as close to 7am as possible

Group size: 8 minimum, 10 maximum

Transportation: Shuttle, hiking, biking

Accommodations: You can expect comfortable hotels with private bathrooms with one night of dormitory accommodations and shared bathroom

Activity Level: Level 2 - a low to moderate level of physical fitness

Culture Shock: Level 1 - no cultural shock will be experienced

Comfort Level: Level 4 – a moderate to high level of comfort
